The qualifications for SGA officers are:

Demonstrated leadership potential
Team player
Strong personal integrity and ethics
Positive attitude
Good reading and writing skills
Computer skills
Organizational skills
Courteous, professional demeanor
GPA of at least 2.5 or higher
Faculty/staff recommendation
Ability to commit to a minimum of 5 hours weekly for SGA duties
Commitment to attending meetings and assuming the responsibility of the office
Loyalty to Haywood Community College
Commitment to the core values of Haywood Community College
